THE question that has plagued mankind for millenia has finally been solved today by R.A. Burcke, Professor Without Merits. After painstaking years of trials and errors, granted mostly errors, he came upon the answer while watching his pet goldfish Max lay an egg.(A name-change was in order and Max was re-christened Maxine.)

Solution to the conundrum:
First premise: All life evolved from the oceans.
Second premise: Fish lay eggs!
The improbability of a fish producing a full-grown hen, must lead us to the conclusion that… the egg came first!

As the professor will sadly be unavailable to receive the Nobel Prize for Idiocy in person, please, forward by registered mail.
