Another superlative Lady has graciously accepted to join our site. This wise witch is from Wales and writes delightful stories and original poems or incantations. Actually, it was our very own house-witch Sheila, who invited her over and we are all overjoyed that she accepted. Welcome to your home away from home, Polly!
Her first “Invocation to the Dawn” already features here prominently, to the delight of all our merry readers. Carry on making merry and enlightening us with your wisdom, dear Lady.
Addendum: Polly’s poems, for you can not call them anything but that, are so ethereal and at the same time so earthy that they enchant anyone who reads them. She is a true Welsh bard and we love her for it.
Maybe our Polly is a reïncarnation of Arianrhod, “High Fruitful Mother”. Celtic (Welsh) Goddess, the sister of Gwydion and wife of Donn. Deity of element of Air, reincarnation, full moons, time, karma, retribution. The palace of this sky Goddess was Caer Arianrhold (Aurora Borealis). Keeper of the Silver Wheel of Stars, a symbol of time and karma. Her ship, Oar Wheel, carried dead warriors to Emania (Moon-land)?
